The Software Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for developing and improving the perceived and measurable quality of BombBomb’s software products. This role will establish and regularly measure key performance metrics against agreed upon goals. This role will hire and develop a staff of top-tier software testers.

Outcomes

  • Take control of defect reporting and prioritization workflows with each software team in the first 30 days of employment.
  • Establish a production-incidents-per-story metric within the first sixty days, and establish an agreed-upon improvement goal to be met 90 days hence.
  • Establish a % defects fixed metric within the first sixty days, and establish an agreed-upon improvement goal to be met 60 days hence.
  • Actively participate in the testing of software as it's produced in the first week, familiarizing themselves with the teams and their products.
  • Lower the number of software-defect related support tickets by 8% within 6 months of employment.
  • Ensure automated testing suites are in place in the automated build for all software products and establish metrics for measuring success for same within 6 months.
  • Directly manage, grow and nurture a team of A-Player software quality assurance professionals.
