Who we're looking for...

As a Product Manager at BombBomb, you guide the team’s product vision, execute multiple strategies, and provide a holistic approach to discovery and delivery. Ideally, you have a proven track record and demonstrate mastery in the three Ps: Product, Process, and People. You are highly skilled in product strategy and cross-functional management, and driven by quantitative / qualitative data analysis. You determine the relevance and prioritization of the effort contained in your team’s backlog. You have an irrepressible eye for detail and care deeply for the quality and approachability of the products in your charge. To support your product teams, you will effectively measure, communicate, and report on defined KPIs, deliverables, resource requirements, work plans, budgets, and barriers. As a result, you take a very active role in driving all solutions toward solving the most critical business, customer, and technology opportunities of BombBomb.

What you will do...

As a Product Manager, you demonstrate mastery in the three P's of product leadership:

  • Product
    • You are an acknowledged expert on your target users / customers.
    • You are skilled with the various data tools and are considered as an acknowledged expert in how users use the product.
    • You are knowledgeable about the industry. You understand the competitive landscape and relevant industry trends.
    • You understand the various dimensions of BombBomb’s business, including markets, sales, finance (both revenue and cost), services, legal, compliance, privacy, etc. 
    • You are considered an acknowledged expert on how your product works. You can effectively demo to a prospective customer, train a new customer, and handle live customer support inquiries.
  • Process
    • You have a strong understanding of the product risks and how to address them. You understand how to tackle risks upfront before engineers are asked to build. You focus on outcomes and utilize both qualitative and quantitative techniques.
    • Once a product or new capability is live in production, you know how to utilize optimization techniques to improve and refine your product rapidly.
    • Your work demonstrates that your primary responsibility is discovery while having your secondary role in supporting delivery.
    • You understand the broader product development process, including discovery and delivery and administrative responsibilities as the team's product owner.
  • People
    • You work with engineers and product designers and maintain a collaborative relationship. You involve the engineers and designers early enough to provide direct customer access. You are fully leveraging their skills and minds.
    • You are good at collaborating with your stakeholders across the company. You ensure that stakeholders feel like they have a true partner in a genuinely committed product to their business success. You have established mutual respect and trust with each stakeholder, including the company's senior leadership.
    • You can effectively share the product vision and strategy. You motivate and inspire your product teams and the various stakeholders within the company who must contribute to the product in one way or another. 
    • You are an effective communicator, motivator, and maximizer.  Your product teams and stakeholders look to you for leadership and stability, especially in stressful situations.

Our ideal candidate will be or have…

  • 3+ years experience in a product management role (SaaS preferred) 
  • Experience working with mid-market and enterprise customers, working with a backlog involving security and compliance topics preferred
  • Candidate should have experience building custom software solutions for large-scale clients
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment with dynamic strategic changes
  • Proven track record in maintaining a backlog themed on resolving customer pain points and feature work 
  • Experience with iterative product development (Agile): Delivering business value to customers early and continuously while still working towards a broader strategic vision
  • A successful track record of shipping and iterating upon SaaS products
  • The ability to understand technology, user interface design, and simplify complex workflows
  • Proficient in developing competitive assessments and positioning, product planning and roadmap definition, sales training, and presentations
  • A strong communicator who is equally adept at talking to engineers, salespeople, marketers, customers, and senior leadership
  • Be a self-starter who can identify key focus areas and prioritize time commitments related to short-term and long-term goals

The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $120,000 annually. Final compensation for this role is determined by a variety of factors, such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
